made with love
Our Christmas is filled with lots of love. Every where we go, we are surrounded by the joy and magic of the season. One of the biggest signs of love, is our Christmas
stockings.
These stockings were hand made by our family friend, Mrs. Faith Johnson. The tradition began when our first child was born. She hand knit the stocking for a gift, and with the birth of each child, we received another stocking. We cherish these stockings, and the kids love to hang them from the mantle.
On Christmas morning, the stockings are always the first presents we open. While Mom and Dad enjoy their coffee, the kids take turns one at a time, opening their stocking gifts. This is so much fun, and I hope we continue the stocking tradition when the kids are all grown and have families of their own.
