Boys, boys, boys...they just thrive on competition (mine do anyways). After this year's NBA All Star Slam Dunk contest, the boys decided to host their own Slam Jam contest. Crazy costumes were involved as well as crazy stunts and antics. This was done all for fun, and for bragging rights that they could dunk.
Here are the "BIG" Boys...Christopher (I can't get my fat butt off the ground)
Jumpin Jones
The "Tan Man" had the best style
Next on board is the Berg man (watch out Lebron)
"Batman" (see attached cape) Alec in perfect form
It was so much fun watching them, and they loved having a captive audience and a camera to shoot their athletic abilitites. All I can say is NBA here we come!

Busy
Today was a very busy day. We had three final basketball games, and a birthday party. Both Chris and Alec had great seasons, and can not believe the season is over.
Back to school tomorrow, so the bags are packed and the finishing touches on their homework. Yes, I said homework. I can not believe they got homework over vacation.
To finish up the day, I whipped up six thank you cards for Christopher. He had an early birthday party last Sunday, so these cards are for his thank yous.

Old Crows
When I walked outside today, I saw these three old crows and had to take a picture. For some reason the first thought that came to my mind was, this will be me and the "chics" in twenty years. Just hangin out, having some lunch and chatting the afternoon away.
So raise your martini glass and toast to "the old crows"!

A Night with the Fairies
On Tuesday evening, our library along with Miss Kathy (the librarian) hosted a night with the fairies. The evening was filled with Irish fairy songs, the story Fairy Houses was read, and then we made Fairy Houses in a shoebox. Of course Eda, and her friend Alyson wore their fairy costumes and danced to the beautiful music.
When making fairy houses you use all items from nature, but nothing living. Sand, shells, sticks, berries, leaves, pinecones, etc. You never use anything imitation, because that can harm the fairies.
We had a wonderful time, and we will be making fairy houses outside this Spring. We hope a fairy will visit you, and spread her magic.
